How do you love someone who doesn’t love you back?
How do you break through a heart
The love that has festered for far too long
Those eyes that tell you don’t belong.
Years and years spent in thought
Figuring you were gone forever
Thinking life’s dynamic had changed in entirety
And yet, you are always near,
As a shadow amid the stones of my life’s walk.
